Morgan Amalfitano has set his sights on joining a club that will be playing in Europe next season.
The 25-year-old will see his contract at Lorient expire in the summer and he has made it clear that he will not be penning an extension.
The midfielder is now planning where his next move will take him, with a number of sides reported to be interested.
Marseille made tentative enquiries as to his availability last season, while Atletico Madrid are said to be monitoring his situation.
There has also been talk of a possible move to England, with Amalfitano willing to consider all offers.
He admits that he will make a decision based purely on sporting factors, with it his ambition to be turning out in continental competition next term.
"I will make my choice thinking only about football," Amalfitano told France Football.
"I will join a club where I am convinced that the coach can help to improve me as a player.
"If possible, I would like to join a team that will be playing in Europe."
