Notts County have snapped up Ivan Sproule on a month-long loan deal from Bristol City.
Skysports.com revealed on Tuesday that the Northern Ireland international was keen on a move after slipping down the pecking order at Ashton Gate.
He has now got his wish, with a short-term agreement struck with League One outfit County.
The 30-year-old arrives at Meadow Lane having taken in a similar spell at Yeovil earlier in the season.
He will add considerable experience to Paul Ince's ranks, which is a useful commodity to have during the final stages of the season.
Sproule made a name for himself at Hibernian and was linked with a number of big-money moves during his time in Scotland.
He eventually linked up with Bristol City in 2007 and was part of the Robins side that reached the Championship play-off final in 2008.
