Derby County have signed Hull City goalkeeper Matt Duke on loan for the rest of the season following Stephen Bywater's move to Cardiff City.
Duke has arrived at Pride Park to provide cover for fellow loan goalkeeper Frank Fielding after falling out of favour at Hull.
The 33-year-old had been first choice during the early weeks of the season, but he has not featured in the Championship for the Tigers since early November.
Loan duo Vito Mannone and Brad Guzan had been used by Nigel Pearson at the KC Stadium, so Duke has jumped at a move to Derby.
The experienced keeper played under Rams boss Nigel Clough at Burton Albion and is likely to be in the squad for Saturday's game against Barnsley.
"We know Matt well; he has good experience both in the Championship and Premier League, and he is ideal for us to work alongside Frank and Ross Atkins," Clough told the club's official website.
Earlier in the day, Clough had allowed Bywater to head to Cardiff on loan after deciding to use Fielding as first choice at Pride Park.
