Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has backed defender David Luiz to clean up his game and become a star.
The Brazilian's £25million arrival in January was somewhat overshadowed by the signing of Fernando Torres, yet it was Luiz who made the bigger impact against Manchester United.
The 23-year-old fired home a beautiful volley to level proceedings as Chelsea went on to record a crucial 2-1 victory.
Despite an impressive and assured performance from the relative newcomer, Luiz came under criticism for some robust defending.
United manager Sir Alex Ferguson believes that the Brazilian should have been sent off for a cynical foul on Wayne Rooney.
When asked about his defender, Ancelotti said: "He has to know English football. He has to be more calm on the pitch.
"Obviously he's showed fantastic ability and quality.
"He has to improve, but he will because he'll have more experience and knowledge about English football. He can change his behaviour on the pitch.
"He's showing fantastic ability offensively, obviously.
"He's able to pass the ball and move in front without problems. He's able to shoot at goal. Defensively, he can improve."
