Blackpool full-back Stephen Crainey is hoping to make his comeback from an ankle injury in Monday's game against Chelsea.
Crainey has missed Blackpool's last six Premier League matches after suffering ankle ligament damage in the 2-1 home defeat by Sunderland in January.
He had previously been an integral member of Ian Holloway's side and is determined to make his return to action.
Providing he comes through a reserve game unscathed, Crainey expects to be in contention for the visit of champions Chelsea on Monday.
"Hopefully if I get a good week's training in I will be available," Crainey told the club's official website.
"It has been really hard because I have enjoyed the season so far and I was gutted to get injured, but I want to get back in the mix of things.
"We are still in a great position and hopefully we can get the points to secure our status, we have the players to do that and everyone is looking forward to giving it their all."
