Nice's versatile Ivorian pleased to have caught the eye of scouts

Kafoumba Coulibaly is delighted to hear that Premier League scouts are keeping tabs on him. The Nice midfielder was reportedly watched by a number of English clubs over the weekend, with Wigan, Wolves and Fulham said to be among those leading the chase. Coulibaly did his hopes of securing a summer switch no harm in a meeting with St Etienne, as he bagged a 25-yard wonder goal. The Ivorian, who can also operate at full-back, was pleased to have made his mark in that particular game and hopes he caught the eye of the interested spectators in the stands. "The goal was a bit of a surprise," he told skysports.com. "I heard through the press that I was being watched, so it was good to score in front of them. "Hopefully now I can score a few more before the end of the season."
