Sven Goran Eriksson insists there has been no contact from Everton regarding a move for Leicester City midfielder Andy King.
The Wales international is Leicester's top scorer this season and has been linked with a summer move to Premier League side Everton.
Reports have claimed that, as part of a deal for King, the Toffees would allow Yakubu to turn his loan deal at the Walkers Stadium into a permanent arrangement.
However, while Eriksson is aware of the speculation, the Foxes boss has dismissed suggestions that there has been an approach from Everton.
Eriksson told the Leicester Mercury: "I have read about Andy King in the newspapers but I guarantee that I have heard nothing of this.
"The club has not been contacted because I would have known that as well. Andy's agent has not spoken to me either."
King has spent his entire professional career with Leicester and the 22-year-old has scored 38 goals in 154 appearances for the club.
