Lewis open to Posh stay

Peterborough goalkeeper Joe Lewis has confirmed he will be happy to stay with the club next season - if they win promotion.

Lewis handed in a transfer request in January and was the subject of several rejected bids but will stay with Darren Ferguson's men if they return to the second tier. He said: "I'd definitely be happy to stay at Posh if they are in the Championship next season. "I want to play Championship football next season. "I'd love to go into the Premier League, but realistically I don't think many managers would take someone into the top flight straight from League One. "Some might, but it's unlikely. I wouldn't rule out going to any club, but I'd be more interested in the opportunity I was going to get rather than the size of club I'd be joining."
