Everton ace Diniyar Bilyaletdinov has denied suggestions that he is looking to move back to Russia.

Bilyaletdinov moved to Goodison Park in 2009 when Everton paid Lokomotiv Moscow nearly £9million for his signature.

Reports have quoted the 25-year-old midfielder as saying he was missing life in his native land and was looking to move home.

He was quoted as saying: "I still miss Moscow a lot.

"I spent 95 per cent of my life there so I got used to it. Home is home after all, and sometimes I feel a need to visit it."

But now Bilyaletdinov has cleared things by insisting he was referring to going back to Moscow in terms of a vacation.

"It was a mistranslation, I am happy here, I was talking about a holiday," he insisted.
