Sunderland goalkeeper Trevor Carson admits he would be prepared to return to Lincoln City next season after extending his loan deal at Sincil Bank.
Carson has made nine appearances for the League Two club since linking up with Steve Tilson's side last month to gain first-team experience.
He has subsequently extended that arrangement and is enjoying the opportunity to play regular football with Lincoln.
"I have signed a month's extension," Carson told the Lincolnshire Echo.
"It was always going to happen, it was just a matter of getting the papers signed.
"I'm so happy here, getting into a Premier League team nowadays is very, very hard and I would more than welcome an opportunity to come down here next season.
"The gaffer Steve Tilson is putting together a great squad and I'd love to be part of it, I feel part of the family down here."
