Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says Samir Nasri has a chance of featuring against Barcelona in UEFA Champions League action on Wednesday.
The France international has been on the sidelines with a hamstring injury for the past few weeks after sustaining the knock in their FA Cup win over Huddersfield.
Nasri has been the Gunners' form player this season with 14 goals in all competitions and his availability significantly raising hopes of toppling the Spanish giants.
Wenger believes the 23-year-old has a chance of featuring in the Emirates clash although he will undergo tests on Monday and Tuesday so the club can monitor his progress, although should there be doubts of his fitness then he will not be risked.
"I would say he has a chance," said Wenger. "He has tests, one tomorrow and one on Tuesday.
"I will not take a crazy gamble but physically he has worked very hard; physically he is ready.
"It is just if there is a risk of a setback or not."
Asked if Nasri was eager to face the Spanish champions, Wenger added: "Who isn't?
"But we have the Carling Cup final too... we have so many big games it is important not to be stupid as well."
