Toffees youngster looking to learn at Rugby Park

Kilmarnock's loan signing Kieran Agard is looking forward to impressing between now and the end of the season at Rugby Park. The 21-year-old has been allowed to leave Goodison Park in a bid to accrue first-team experience following a short stint with Peterborough. Agard was recommended the club by manager David Moyes and he is enjoying his early time at Kilmarnock under Finnish boss Mixu Paatelainen. The youngster has made five appearances for The Toffees this season, including a run-out against Benfica in the Europa League and Premier League debut against Chelsea. However, after falling out of the first-team picture again Agard was keen to continue playing as much football as he can and hopes to return to Merseyside an improved player.

Jumped

"David Moyes recommended the club and said it would be a good move for me so I jumped at the chance," explained Agard. "I've been here a week and I'm enjoying it. I just want to get games under my belt - I believe I'm ready for it and want to score goals. "I just want to get game time and once I'm in the team I'll be doing my best to stay there. "I'm enjoying working with Mixu Paatelainen. When I'm training he's giving me tips on what to do and that will benefit me and the team. "Training with players such as Louis Saha has been great and you definitely learn from them in practice every day. "You can improve as a result of that and now I want to show what I can do."
