Josip Ilicic's agent claims Tottenham are among a number of English clubs interested in Palermo's Slovenia international.
The 23-year-old has proved a huge hit in his first season in Serie A with eight league goals from 23 appearances after joining from NK Maribor.
Ilicic's agent Armir Ruznic insists no contact has been made with the White Hart Lane side, but claims their interest is 'indisputable'.
Spurs are not the only top-flight side in England monitoring his progress with Spanish clubs also reportedly in the frame for his signature.
"I have not had contact with Tottenham executives but it is indisputable that the player is liked by the English club," Ruznic told reterete24.it.
"For Ilicic, there are several teams in the English and Spanish league, as well as the Italian one, interested, but at present there is nothing concrete that would suggest a departure from Palermo at the end of the season.
"Also, president (Maurizio) Zamparini has confirmed to me on several occasions his intention to build a team around the likes of Ilicic and (Armin) Bacinovic to help the team aspire to make major breakthroughs, like Champions League qualification.
"In the near future we'll be discussing their contractual situations, but the players shouldn't be leaving Palermo in the next two years."
