Guy Moussi is facing three months out at Nottingham Forest, with Billy Davies describing the news as a 'disaster'.

The Frenchman has suffered a thigh strain and is set to be sidelined for the foreseeable future, at a crucial stage of the season.

The combative midfielder picked up the knock in Forest's victory over Coventry last week and subsequently missed their home win over Watford on Saturday.

With the Reds already short on numbers as they look to sustain a promotion push, boss Davies admits another casualty is the last thing he needed.

"It is a massive blow with Guy Moussi because it has been confirmed that we are probably looking at 12 weeks," said the Scot.

"It is a disaster for us. It is bad news for us, for him and the club. We have lost one good player in Moussi."
