Tottenham star Rafael van der Vaart has pulled out of Holland's friendly against Austria next week with a calf injury.
The midfielder was called up for Wednesday's clash in Eindhoven, but has been forced to withdraw after picking up the knock, the Dutch FA (KNVB) has confirmed.
Van der Vaart suffered the problem during Spurs' 2-1 victory over Bolton at White Hart Lane on Saturday.
The Dutchman netted a sixth-minute penalty to open the scoring before being substituted at half-time.
Van der Vaart has made 88 appearances for the Netherlands to date, scoring 16 goals and helping them to the World Cup final last year.
