Nottingham Forest new boy Robbie Findley has been ruled out of action for up to 12 weeks after suffering a thigh injury.
USA international Findley finalised his move to the City Ground earlier this week after agreeing a two-and-a-half year contract to join from Real Salt Lake.
However, he will have to wait to make an impact for the promotion hopefuls after picking up an injury in training which will keep him out for between eight and 12 weeks.
Forest have also lost Guy Moussi for six weeks with a thigh injury and manager Billy Davies lamented the problems that have hit his squad.
"Now we have lost Moussi and Robbie Findley, who was a very important addition," said Davies.
"Moussi will be out for six weeks at least and Findley for up to 12.
"Kelvin Wilson says he has some injury issues and Nathan Tyson has a back problem, which is difficult to put a time scale on."
