Scunthorpe United expect Chelsea full-back Ben Gordon to link up with their squad on Monday following his return to fitness.
Gordon agreed to join the Iron in early January on loan for the rest of the season after impressing at Kilmarnock in the first half of the campaign.
However, the 19-year-old's arrival at Glanford Park has been held up by a hamstring injury and Iron boss Ian Baraclough is happy he will shortly have Gordon at his disposal.
"It has been frustrating because I have been keeping in contact with Ben and he is champing at the bit to get here," said Baraclough in the Scunthorpe Telegraph.
"Chelsea have now confirmed that he can come here on Monday.
"He is a young player who loves to get forward. I don't want to put pressure on him, but his style of play is very similar to Ashley Cole.
"He might give us the width we are looking for on the left."
