Fiorentina have announced that Adrian Mutu will rejoin the rest of the squad on Friday following his recent exclusion.
The Romanian striker was blasted for a 'lack of respect' last month after walking out of training, with the club also making it clear that they intended to sue him for breach of contract.
The events fuelled speculation about a move elsewhere and Serie A rivals Cesena were credited with an interest, but Fiorentina insisted they would not allow him to leave.
Mutu was instead left out of several games as punishment and had no involvement with the first team in training.
The 32-year-old issued an apology for his behaviour last week and begged to return to the fold, saying he wanted to make a fresh start.
Fiorentina are now prepared to welcome Mutu back ahead of Sunday's visit to struggling Parma.
An official statement from the club read: "ACF Fiorentina announce the player Adrian Mutu, tomorrow, Friday, February 4th, will be reinstated in the group of the main team, and for this reason he will be at the coach Sinisa Mihajlovic's disposal."
