Atletico Madrid starlet David de Gea has confirmed that he is yet to be offered a new contract.
The highly-rated goalkeeper has been strongly linked with Manchester United as their potential successor to Edwin van der Sar.
The 20-year-old has just over two years left on his current deal at the Vicente Calderon.
De Gea has now confirmed that he is indeed yet to be offered fresh terms, but he understands talks are ongoing.
"I have not received an offer of renewal from the club, but it is something that is being talked about," he admitted.
He was delighted to learn that team-mate Sergio Aguero had agreed fresh terms.
"His renewal was very important for us, because he is a key player, so this is great news," he added.
