West Ham have confirmed young striker Frank Nouble has joined Barnsley on loan.
The former Chelsea youngster has joined The Tykes on loan until March and is available for Tuesday's Championship clash with Preston.
The 19-year-old had a spell on loan at Swansea earlier this season and West Ham are happy to let him go out on loan again so that he can get valuable first-team action under his belt.
Nouble is looking forward to linking up with Barnsley and has set his sights on scoring some goals during his spell at Oakwell.
"I'm looking forward to showing what I can do and scoring a few goals. That is certainly the plan," Nouble told West Ham's official website.
"I've been out on loan a couple of times before and these spells are always good for my learning and experience. I'll be looking to do my best and score as many goals as I can over the next month and a half."
Barnsley boss Mark Robins believes the England Under 19 international will prove a valuable addition to his squad.
"Frank Nouble is a powerful and fast forward who will trouble any defence as we have seen at first hand when we played West Ham in the FA Cup in January," Robins told Barnsley's official website.
"I am delighted to have secured his services and beat off competition to sign him. He will be a real asset to our squad and give us more attacking options.
