Levante have announced the signing of Jefferson Montero from Villarreal until the end of the season.
The promoted La Liga side have landed the Ecuador midfielder on loan after the clubs reached an agreement on transfer deadline day.
The 21-year-old, who has 13 international caps, has had limited first-team opportunities with third-placed Villarreal this season.
And Montero looks set to get plenty of action at 18th-placed Levante, who boosted their survival hopes with a 2-0 home win over Getafe on Saturday.
