Middlesbrough have completed the signing of Merouane Zemmama from Hibernian.
The 27-year-old has been locked in talks over the past few days and he has finally sealed the deal which reunites him with Tony Mowbray, who signed him for Hibernian.
Zemmama has now penned a three-and-half-year deal after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee, believed to be in the region of £200,000.
Zemmama was out-of-contract in the summer, and it is understood that Boro had already agreed to sign him at the end of the season, had they not struck a deal now.
He is Boro's second signing of deadline day, following on from Maximilian Haas' arrival from Bayern Munich.
