Midfielder Jermaine Jenas will not being leaving White Hart Lane in the transfer window, according to Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp.
Aston Villa are reportedly eyeing up a move for the England international, who has made just 12 league appearances this season, before Monday's deadline.
However, Redknapp reckons there is no chance of the 27-year-old switching to the Midlands, particularly after Tom Huddlestone's injury setback.
He said: "Aston Villa have never made an offer to us.
"We can't afford to lose anyone at the moment. We're short in that area."
