Sky Sports sources understand Celtic have wrapped up the signing of winger Kris Commons from Derby on a three-and-a-half-year deal.
The Scotland international underwent a medical at Parkhead on Thursday after the Scottish Premier League club agreed a reported £300,000 fee for Commons with the Rams.
And it now appears the Bhoys have completed their swoop for the 27-year-old, who was due to be out of contract at Pride Park at the end of the season.
Commons looked set for a move to Celtic's Old Firm rivals, Rangers, earlier this week, but Walter Smith's side could not meet the winger's wage demands and pulled out of the race for his signature.
The former Stoke and Nottingham Forest player arrived at Championship club Derby in 2008.
He has racked up 80 appearances during his time with the Rams, scoring 21 goals.
