Ben-Hatira: First-team chance
Middlesbrough target Anis Ben-Hatira is set to stay with Hamburg during the transfer window.
The 22-year-old had been interesting Boro, who were keen on doing a loan deal for the young forward.
However Ben-Hatira, who spent time on trial at West Ham in the summer, has recently made the breakthrough at Hamburg under coach Armin Veh.
Now he is part of the first-team set-up the chances of him leaving have vanished.
"I have started a couple of matches now, still I have achieved nothing," Ben Hatira told Hamburger Morgenpost.
"I am eager to take the chance and establish myself in the first team, no matter what is up for me to do that. I have been waiting for so long to be given this starting opportunity.
"I have worked hard to get the chance and I will be doing the best to impress the manager. I am under contract with Hamburg."
