Energie Cottbus striker Nils Petersen has rejected speculation he could be ready to leave the club for pastures new.
The Germany Under 21 international has been the subject of an enquiry from Hoffenheim while he is also being linked with Blackburn Rovers.
The 22-year-old is aware of the interest in his services, however, he is happy with the Stadion der Freundschaft outfit and is not looking for a move.
Petersen admits he could move from his native Germany at some point in his career, although he wants to fulfil his ambition of playing for the club in the Bundesliga first.
"I've have had some concrete enquiries regarding a transfer," he told BILD.
"One was from Hoffenheim, but I'm not even thinking about moving on just now.
"I'm actually aware that Energie are trying to work out a new and improved deal and I'll be considering it. These discussions are at an advanced stage.
"I could be move abroad of course, but it would be a great thing to play for a top-flight team first. Why shouldn't we manage to gain promotion with Energie to the Bundesliga?"
