Kilmarnock manager Mixu Paatelainen insists there have been no fresh bids for in-demand striker Conor Sammon.
The Irishman's impressive 14 SPL goals this season have stirred great interest in his signature and he recently rejected the chance to join Scunthorpe.
Championship rivals Derby County and Bristol City are now believed to have joined the hunt for his services, but Paatelainen insists no further offers have been forthcoming.
With the January transfer window due to shut next Monday, the Finn believes a deal must be brokered sooner rather than later or else the club will not have time to find a suitable replacement.
"There have not been any more bids for Conor. There has been plenty of interest, but there's nothing concrete at the moment," explained Paatelainen.
"If something happens on deadline day then that leaves us with very little time to strengthen. The longer it goes the more difficult it is for us to accept anything.
"If there are clubs interested in our players then basically they have to move now so I've got a few days to get someone in.
"I don't know if Conor will move on. I can't legislate for what other people will do."
