Latics trialist keen to win DW Stadium contract
Wigan trialist Pascal Feindouno is keen to win a deal with the Latics despite claiming to have four other offers on the table.
The Guinea international has linked up with Wigan this week in order to try and secure a permanent stay at the DW Stadium.
The ex-Bordeaux and St Etienne star, who rejected a deal with Celtic in November, is currently a free agent after terminating his contract with Qatari outfit Al-Saad last year.
The 29-year-old is enjoying his early experience at Wigan and hopes manager Roberto Martinez appreciates his technical ability enough to offer him a full-time deal.
Very happy
"I'm very happy here. Wigan is a great community club, I can sense that," he told
skysports.com.
"They are fantastic so far with me. I hope to impress the gaffer. There are special people here.
"I've always dreamed about playing in this league, so hopefully I can earn a contract at Wigan.
"I've four offers on the table, but I'll give a chance to Wigan to play for Martinez.
"He's a young and very good coach and he loves technical players so I might get a chance!"
