Former Birmingham striker Christian Benitez insists he has yet to agree a deal with Rangers or Celtic.
The Santos Laguna forward has been linked with a move to Scotland, but he also claims there is interest from clubs in England, Spain, France and the Netherlands.
Benitez scored just four goals while on loan at Birmingham last season and Alex McLeish decided against a permanent deal.
But Rangers and Celtic have been linked with the 24-year-old, while Sunderland have also reportedly been keeping track, and the Ecuador international has not ruled out a return to Europe.
Benitez is credited as telling Sports Rumba: "Celtic and Rangers are great teams, but I see nothing concrete."
He added: "There are options in Spain, England, France and the Netherlands. We hope to open one of those doors and could go there and win."
