Branca knows it will be difficult to strike deal

Marco Branca has revealed there is a slight chance of Inter Milan signing Luis Fabiano, but has played down reports linking Alexis Sanchez with a move to the club. Fabiano's future at Sevilla appears uncertain as speculation intensifies that he could be set for a move elsewhere before the transfer window closes. Tottenham have been connected with the 30-year-old, while Corinthians have also launched a bid to bring him back to Brazil. There is also interest in Italy, with Juventus and now Inter making it clear that they would like to land Fabiano. Inter director Branca admits it will be difficult to strike a deal this month but is remaining hopeful. "There is a possibility that Luis Fabiano could come to Inter, but it's not very likely," Branca told ANSA. Sanchez is another player on Inter's radar but Udinese have made it clear that the Chile international will not be going anywhere. Branca said: "Inter like Sanchez, but he is not on the market. Inter will not be buying players for the sake of buying players."
