Liverpool have confirmed Holland international Ryan Babel has agreed to join Bundesliga club Hoffenheim.

Liverpool have confirmed Holland international Ryan Babel has agreed to join Bundesliga club Hoffenheim.
Babel's future at Anfield has been the subject of conjecture for the past 12 months and he had been a long-term target for Birmingham City.
During the current transfer window, the attacker had been linked with a return to former club Ajax as part of a deal which could see Luis Suarez join Liverpool.
However, the Reds accepted an offer from Hoffenheim last week and Babel underwent a medical before the transfer seemingly stalled.
Reds boss Kenny Dalglish stated earlier on Monday that the 24-year-old would be staying on Merseyside, but the club have now confirmed Babel's impending departure.
Babel is understood to have agreed a two-and-a-half year contract with Hoffenheim and he will fly to Germany on Tuesday to finalise his move.
He joined Liverpool from Ajax in a big-money deal in 2007 and he scored 22 goals in 146 appearances for the club after failing to make a sustained impact in the Premier League.
His sale will raise hopes on Merseyside that new boss Dalglish has his first signing lined up to replace Babel, having had a £4million bid for Blackpool captain Charlie Adam rejected.
