Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has ruled out an imminent bid for striking sensation Romelu Lukaku.
The 17-year-old Anderlecht forward has been linked with a number of top clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester United and AC Milan.
While Mancini has spoken of his admiration for the teenager's talents, he will not be making an immediate bid for the youngster, although he has not ruled out a swoop further down the line.
The City boss did said: "Lukaku is a good player and he is young.
"Maybe in the future something will happen but at this moment, no."
A number of players are being linked with a move from Eastlands this month, including strike duo Emmanuel Adebayor and Jo and winger Shaun Wright-Phillips.
But Mancini says there has been no progress on any of the potential departures.
"We have another 10 days," said the City boss.
"It is possible something could happen but at the moment there has been no progress."
