Blackburn Rovers keeper Jason Brown is keen to win a permanent or loan move in order to secure first-team football.
The Wales international is keen to leave Ewood Park having enjoyed successful loan spells with Leeds United and Leyton Orient this season.
The 28-year-old former Gillingham man knows he can do a job at a high level, after impressing for Blackburn last term with a series of man-of-the-match performances while Paul Robinson was on the treatment table.
Fresh challenge
"There are quite a lot of quality keepers at Blackburn vying to start," he told
skysports.com. "Myself and the club feel a fresh challenge is best for both parties.
"I played a lot as a young boy, starting at Gillingham and working my way up to the Premier League with Blackburn. I feel I need to move on to continue progressing in my career.
"My time at Leeds was great. Great club, great support. The people there are fantastic. I would love to have stayed but at the same time it would defeat the object, as I'd be sat behind Kasper (Schmeichel).
"The opportunity to play first-team football is what drives me. I'm hoping to remain in the public eye and add to the caps I have won for Wales."
