Skysports.com understands Millwall are in talks with Steve Morison over a new deal at The Den.
Morison is regarded as one of the best talents outside the Premier League following his goalscoring exploits for Millwall over the last couple of seasons.
The 27-year-old has scored 12 goals this season and his performances have attracted interest from a number of clubs.
Fulham have been credited with an interest in Morison, while Nottingham Forest and Norwich are understood to have had offers rejected for the Wales international.
Millwall are loath to lose the prolific forward and have opened talks with Morison over a new deal at the Championship outfit.
Morison's advisor, Mark Wright, has confirmed a host of clubs are interested in the striker, but that Millwall are trying to secure him on a new contract to ward off the interest.
"I believe there have been a couple of offers for Steve but Millwall rejected them," Wright told skysports.com.
"I know some Premier League clubs have been linked with Steve and that comes as no surprise as he is a quality player.
"However, Millwall are keen to keep Steve and we are talking about a new deal.
"Steve is enjoying his football and is happy at Millwall until he is told otherwise."
