Sergio Busquets' agent has confirmed that a number of 'big clubs' are chasing his signature.
The 22-year-old Barcelona midfielder has been strongly linked with a switch to Premier League outfit Manchester United although the Catalans are thought to be holding out for a substantial fee.
Busquets has been locked in negotiations with Barca for five months over a new deal but no agreement has yet been reached.
His agent Josep Maria Orobitg insists that he is focused on the task in hand at the Camp Nou, but admits there is strong interest in the Spain international.
"Sergio is a Barca fan and now his head is at the club, but it is normal to consider other options," Orobitg said in The People.
"I have received calls from some big clubs asking me about his situation, but his future is in the hands of Barcelona."
Busquets burst onto the scene for Barca back in 2008 and is now a key player for the Primera Division champions, although United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is reportedly preparing an audacious bid.
