Maiden calls for Moses and Ameobi

Nigeria have called-up Wigan's Victor Moses, as he looks set to switch his allegiance from England. Nigerian-born Moses is an England Under-21 international, but as skysports.com revealed, he is now set to play for the country of his birth following talks with coach Samson Siasia. Another coup for Siasia looks to be in the shape of Newcastle's Shola Ameobi - who the Super Eagles have long coveted. Ameobi now appears to have given up on his chances of playing for England and is now set to feature for Nigeria. But Manchester City's Nedum Onuoha has again rebuffed their advances and has not been included. Other new call-ups include Karabukspor striker Emmanuel Emenike, Inter Milan's Obiora Nwankwo and Siena's Michael Odibe.
