Celtic have confirmed they will appeal against the red card issued to James Forrest in Wednesday's clash with Hamilton.
The 19-year-old was dismissed for a tackle on David Buchanan early in the second half at New Douglas Park.
Forrest was one of three players sent off in the game and Celtic are unhappy the youngster was issued with a straight red card.
However, in Neil Lennon's post-match comments he explained he understood why referee Willie Callum dismissed his player.
The match proved another controversial affair for Celtic as Lennon felt Hamilton's opener was offside, while he was also unhappy Niall McGinn did not win a penalty and Anthony Stokes' last-gasp header was disallowed.
