Blackpool have joined the race to sign Southampton's Jason Puncheon, skysports.com can confirm.
The 24-year-old has just returned to Southampton following a loan spell at Millwall where he impressed hugely with five goals in seven games.
The Lions were desperate to keep him but they look to have been priced out of a permanent move.
Skysports.com revealed earlier this week that the likes of Wigan, Bolton, West Ham, Swansea, Portsmouth, Leicester and Middlesbrough were all tracking him following his success at The Den.
Now Blackpool have tried to jump to the head of the queue by making their move.
Southampton, who played Puncheon upon his return at the weekend against Blackpool in the FA Cup, are waiting for any club to meet their valuation of the winger.
