FC Twente have signed AC Milan defender Oguchi Onyewu on loan until the end of the season.
The former Newcastle loan star is well down the pecking order at the San Siro and the Rossoneri are happy to loan him out.
Onyewu missed most of last season with a serious knee injury and he is keen to be playing regularly to aid his return to fitness.
Twente made the move for Onyewu after seeing Nicky Kuiper and Dwight Tiendalli both sustain injuries at a training camp earlier this month.
The move to Twente will see Onyewu reunited with Michel Preud'homme, who he worked with at Standard Liege.
