Celtic boss Neil Lennon has confirmed Nottingham Forest defender Kelvin Wilson has agreed a pre-contract with the club.
As exclusively revealed by skysports.com last week Celtic had agreed a deal to sign the highly-rated defender after chasing him for some time.
Wilson is able to sign a pre-contract deal with Celtic as he was entering the final six months of his Forest deal.
Lennon, who played with Wilson during his time at the City Ground, has not ruled out bringing the centre-back to Glasgow before the end of the current transfer window.
"I like him. I played with him for six months at Forest. He was 22 then and still developing physically," said Lennon.
"We have watched him the last couple of years and he has been very consistent in the Championship.
"He's quick, composed on the ball and decent in the air. We did try to get him in August but there was nothing doing.
"If the possibility is there for him to come here in January I'd like to have him now. If not we'll have him in the summer."
