Skysports.com understands that two unnamed Premier League clubs are keeping tabs on Dundee United's Slovakia international keeper Dusan Pernis.
The talented 26-year-old shot-stopper is regarded as one of the SPL's best keepers and his form for the Tangerines has not gone unnoticed in England's top flight.
Pernis has been promoted to his country's No.1 keeper for their Euro 2012 qualifiers and a fee in the region of £750,000 could be enough to strike an agreement.
The cold snap throughout December hindered the two clubs' ability to bolster scouting reports on the Slovakian ace, although their interest has remained constant throughout.
Skysports.com understands that Pernis, who is contracted to United until the summer of 2012, would welcome a move to England where he would be playing against the world's best.
