Kevin Doyle will return to the Wolves side for Wednesday's game against Chelsea with Karl Henry also closing in on a return to fitness.
Doyle suffered a thigh injury a month ago in the defeat to Blackburn and has been sidelined ever since.
Henry has been out of action since damaging medial knee ligaments in November against Blackpool.
He is slated to return on Saturday for the FA Cup tie at Doncaster, while Jody Craddock is making good progress after three months out with hip and thigh problems.
"It's a big plus for us that Doyle will be involved tomorrow and is in contention," said Wolves boss Mick McCarthy.
"Karl trained today and might be involved at Doncaster and Jody has returned to training as well.
"Getting these lads back will be a huge help to us."
