Roma striker Adriano has revealed he is set to return to Brazil at the end of the season.
The 28-year-old has decided to return to former club Flamengo next summer after a disappointing spell at the Stadio Olimpico.
Adriano has made only two starts in Serie A this term and he is keen to return to Brazil for personal reasons
"I will play with Flamengo in June. You can come and wait for me at the airport," Adriano told Marca Campeao.
"It's very sad to have to leave all this and travel [back to Italy] again.
"I have already been there long enough. No one is made of steel. For this reason, I will be happy when I return to Brazil and play with Flamengo.
"I've had a grave family problem. My uncle had a heart attack and is recovering in hospital. I am tied to my father's family and this problem has left me shocked.
"I explained to Roma what happened. I don't believe there will be any problems. I would like to once again thank the Giallorossi.
"I will give my best in the next few months but in June I will leave."
