Leeds United manager Simon Grayson does not expect in-form winger Max Gradel to leave the club in the January transfer window.
Such has been the former Leicester City ace's form this term in the Championship that a string of top-flight clubs are being linked with the 23-year-old.
The likes of Wigan, West Brom and Newcastle have all been credited with an interest in the young Ivorian who dreams of playing in the Premier League one day.
It had been thought Leeds might not be able to resist a big-money offer, although Grayson insists Gradel is important and that he is not expecting his departure.
"Max is an important part of our team," said Grayson. "I don't expect him to be going anywhere."
Skysports.com understands that while Gradel is eager to help Leeds win promotion this season he would also be looking to further his career in January if an offer was accepted.
