Skysports.com understands Ivan Sproule could leave Bristol City during next month's transfer window.
City are thought to be open to offers for the Northern Ireland international with his contract set to expire at the end of the season.
Sproule is currently back at Ashton Gate after an interrupted loan spell at Yeovil which saw him make just two appearances because of the adverse weather conditions.
A number of clubs are thought to be monitoring Sproule's situation and the player's agent, Clive Hart, admits the flying winger is ready for a new challenge.
"I think Bristol City are open to offers for Ivan due to the fact he is out of contract in the summer and that he is down the pecking order there at the minute," Hart told skysports.com.
"Ivan had a frustrating spell on loan at Yeovil which was ruined by the weather so he didn't get much action there.
"Ivan is keen to find himself a new club and a new challenge and he believes he still has a lot to offer, so we will see what options come our way during the next few weeks."
