Skysports.com understands Peterborough striker Aaron Mclean has agreed a deal to join Hull after talks with the Championship club.
Mclean was granted permission to open talks with Hull earlier this week after they agreed an undisclosed fee with Peterborough for the player's signature.
It is now understood Mclean has agreed personal terms with Hull, with the move subject to a medical.
Mclean is expected to sign a three-and-a-half year deal at the KC Stadium and will make the move when the transfer window opens next month.
Mclean could be joined at Hull by Leicester striker Matty Fryatt with the Tigers in talks with the former Walsall man.
