Capital giants to hold crunch talks with City target Radu

Lazio have strongly denied making an offer for Bayern Munich striker Miroslav Klose. The Serie A giants revealed they are not in talks with the 32-year-old Germany International. Reports suggest Klose is keen for a move to the Eternal City with the player quoted as saying he would like to play in Italy next season. However, Lazio owner Claudio Lotito has been quick to quell Klose's interest, and any chance of signing the player has evaporated. "There is no deal or negotiation for Klose," Lotito told Sky Sport Italia. "In January we will go in the market, but we won't disturb the balance of a strong and united group."

Talks

Meanwhile, defender Stefan Radu is set to hold crunch talks with the Biancocelesti according to his agent, Victor Becali. Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is understood to be keeping a close eye on the 24-year-old Romanian who has a year and a half left on his current deal. However, Lotito is aware of the interest shown in the player. "We will focus on keeping Radu," he said. "We will surely find a solution that will satisfy the player and the club. Given the value of the player, there are clubs interested in him."
