Coventry defender Ben Turner has signed a new three-and-a-half-year deal at the Ricoh Arena.
The 22-year-old, who is a product of the Sky Blues' youth system, has made 14 starts for Aidy Boothroyd's side this season, scoring four goals.
Boothroyd was delighted to sort out the long-term future of the highly-rated central defender.
"This is a terrific signing for Coventry," said Boothroyd.
"He is exactly the sort of player we want at this club. He is young, ambitious, talented and has got the right attitude - he has got everything.
"He has been a real mainstay of the team and I believe with his talent, attitude and temperament he can go all the way to the very top.
"So we are very pleased to have agreed a new contract with Ben and it is great news for the club."
