Huddersfield manager Lee Clark has promised that his young midfielder Chris Atkinson will not be leaving the club.
The 18-year-old has only featured once for the Terriers this season but Clark is convinced that he has a part to play in the rest of the campaign.
"Not one player who I want to keep will be sold in January," Clark told the Huddersfield Daily Examiner. "If anyone goes out on a permanent deal next month it will be because they are surplus to requirements.
"There might be youngsters going out on loan - with the exception of young Chris Atkinson.
"I just want to get him out on that field on a regular basis, because I am so excited about the boy. He has got the potential to be a sensational footballer for this club."
