Rangers have been boosted by the news that forward Steven Naismith has signed a new contract with the SPL champions.
The former Kilmarnock man, who joined in August 2007, is now tied to the Ibrox club until the summer of 2015.
The Scotland international has been in fine form for Walter Smith's side this season having scored eight goals in all competitions.
The 24-year-old has been an ever-present for Rangers in league action having appeared in all of their 15 league games.
Rangers are currently top of the SPL table and two points ahead of Celtic, who drew with Kilmarnock at Parkhead on Tuesday.
